Slow Cooker Pork Chops 🍽️

A simple, comforting meal with tender pork chops and a flavorful sauce—perfect for a busy day.

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (about 300 g) cream of mushroom soup (or a homemade alternative)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and quickly sear the chops for 1–2 minutes per side (optional, but adds flavor).
  3. Place sliced onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
  4. Add pork chops on top.
  5. Mix the soup, chicken broth, and herbs, then pour over the pork.
  6. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Tips for extra tender pork:

  • Avoid overcooking—pork chops can dry out if cooked too long.
  • Bone-in chops often stay juicier.
  • Add mushrooms or vegetables for a complete one-pot meal.
