Key Lime Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1Β½ cups crushed Graham crackers

  • 1 tbsp Lime zest
  • 3 Egg yolks

Topping

  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool.

2. Make the Filling

  1. In a bowl, whisk sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks until smooth.
  2. Stir in lime juice and lime zest.

3. Bake the Pie

  • Pour filling into the crust and bake 12–15 minutes until set.

4. Chill

  • Let the pie cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

5. Serve

  • Top with whipped cream and extra lime zest before serving.
