Here’s a tender, fall-off-the-bone recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Ribs—super easy and packed with flavor.


🍖 Ingredients

  • 1–1.5 kg pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional, for depth)
  • 1 tbsp mustard (optional)

🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep the ribs
    • Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (this helps tenderness).
    • Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Season
    • Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and brown sugar.
    • Rub the mixture all over the ribs.
  3. Cut & place
    • Cut ribs into sections to fit your slow cooker.
    • Place them inside, standing or stacked.
  4. Add sauce
    • Mix barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and mustard.
    • Pour over the ribs, coating them well.
  5. Cook
    • Low: 7–8 hours (best for tenderness)
    • High: 4–5 hours
  6. Optional finishing step (recommended)
    • Transfer ribs to a baking tray.
    • Brush with extra barbecue sauce.
    • Broil (grill) in the oven for 5–7 minutes until caramelized and slightly crispy.

  • Cooking on low gives the most tender, juicy results.
  • Don’t add too much liquid—the ribs release their own juices.
  • Let them rest a few minutes before serving so the meat stays juicy.
