slow cooker honey garlic pork chops

Posted on April 7, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and flavorful recipe for Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Chops—tender, juicy, and perfect for an easy dinner.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium works well)
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon ginger for extra flavor, chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce
    • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic (add ginger if using).
  2. Place pork chops in the slow cooker
    • Arrange chops in a single layer. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over them.
  3. Cook
    • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
  4. Optional: Thicken the sauce
    • Remove chops and stir the sauce. Mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1–2 tablespoons water and stir into the sauce. Cook on high for 10–15 minutes to thicken.
  5. Serve
    • Pour the sauce over the chops and garnish with green onions if desired. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

Tips

  • Don’t overcook: Even in the slow cooker, pork chops can dry out if left too long.
  • Add vegetables: Carrots, bell peppers, or broccoli can cook in the slow cooker alongside the pork chops.

If you want, I can also give a quick 4-ingredient version that’s ready in the slow cooker in under 3 hours for an even faster weeknight meal.

Do you want me to do that?
