- Tear off 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil.
- Place sliced potatoes, carrots, and onion in the center of each sheet.
- Add a portion of ground beef on top (you can shape it into a small patty).
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Add a small piece of butter and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
- Fold the foil tightly into sealed packets.
- Bake for 45–60 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the beef is cooked through.
- Carefully open the packets (hot steam will escape) and serve.
Easy variations:
- Add mushrooms, green beans, or corn.
- Use chicken or sausage instead of beef.
- Top with cheese during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Cook on a grill or campfire for a smoky flavor.
It’s a cozy, customizable meal that’s especially good when you want minimal cleanup.
