Slow Cooker Pork Chops 🍽️
A simple, comforting meal with tender pork chops and a flavorful sauce—perfect for a busy day.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 can (about 300 g) cream of mushroom soup (or a homemade alternative)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian herbs
Instructions
- Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and quickly sear the chops for 1–2 minutes per side (optional, but adds flavor).
- Place sliced onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add pork chops on top.
- Mix the soup, chicken broth, and herbs, then pour over the pork.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Tips for extra tender pork:
- Avoid overcooking—pork chops can dry out if cooked too long.
- Bone-in chops often stay juicier.
- Add mushrooms or vegetables for a complete one-pot meal.
