Here’s a simple, classic recipe for Crock Pot Candy — sweet, melty, and perfect for a hands-off holiday treat! 🍬

🍬 Crock Pot Candy

Yields: ~24–30 pieces

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 (16 oz) bag of butterscotch chips

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups chopped nuts (optional, like pecans or walnuts)

  • Sea salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep your Crock Pot

  • Spray the inside lightly with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.

  • Set on low heat.

2️⃣ Add ingredients

  • Pour chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and sweetened condensed milk into the Crock Pot.

  • Stir occasionally until fully melted and smooth (about 1–2 hours).

3️⃣ Add flavor

  • Stir in vanilla extract.

  • Mix in chopped nuts if desired.

4️⃣ Spread & cool

  • Pour mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Smooth it with a spatula.

  • Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top if you like.

  • Let it cool for 2–3 hours at room temperature (or refrigerate for faster setting).

5️⃣ Cut & serve

  • Once set, cut into squares or rectangles.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

🎄 Tips & Variations

  • Peanut Butter Twist: Swirl in ½ cup creamy peanut butter before setting.

  • Holiday Fun: Add sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or mini M&Ms.

  • Nut-Free: Skip nuts and add puffed rice for crunch.

  • Chocolate Lovers: Use all chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white).
