Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 2 cups baby potatoes or regular potatoes, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked paprika works great)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prep the Potatoes

  • Wash and cut potatoes into evenly sized chunks.
  • Pat dry with a paper towel (this helps them crisp better).

2. Season

  • Toss potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Add fresh herbs if using.

3. Air Fry

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  • Cook 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.

4. Check & Serve

  • Potatoes should be golden brown and crispy outside, soft inside.
  • Serve hot, sprinkled with fresh parsley or a little extra salt.

Tips for Maximum Crispiness

  • Don’t skip drying the potatoes before oiling.
  • Shake or stir the potatoes halfway through cooking.
  • For extra flavor, toss with a squeeze of lemon juice or grated Parmesan after cooking.
