  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook Beef
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Season beef with salt and pepper.
    Sear quickly (2–3 minutes per side) until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce
    Lower heat to medium. Add butter to the same pan.
    Stir in garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn).
  4. Build Sauce
    Pour in beef broth, scraping up browned bits.
    Simmer 2 minutes. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  5. Combine
    Add pasta and beef back into the skillet.
    Toss until coated. Add Parmesan and mix gently.
  6. Finish
    Taste and adjust seasoning.
    Garnish with parsley or basil and extra Parmesan.
