Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Cake
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
-
In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
-
In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
-
Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.
-
Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
-
Gently fold in walnuts.
-
Pour batter into the pan and bake 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
-
Cool completely on a wire rack.
2️⃣ Make the Cream Frosting
-
Chill the bowl and whisk for 10–15 minutes (cold cream whips better).
-
Whip cream until soft peaks form.
-
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, whip until stiff peaks form.
3️⃣ Assemble the Cake
-
Slice cake horizontally if you want layers.
-
Spread cream between layers and on top.
-
Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for decoration.
🌟 Tips
-
Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.
-
Toast walnuts slightly for extra flavor.
-
Optional: add a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.
If you want, I can also give a shortcut “one-bowl” version that’s even faster but just as tasty—perfect for quick baking.
Do you want me to do that?
