Banana Walnut Cream Cake

Posted on January 3, 2026 by Admin
Here’s a delicious Banana Walnut Cream Cake recipe—moist, nutty, and creamy. Perfect for dessert, birthdays, or afternoon treats. 🍌🌰

🍰 Banana Walnut Cream Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 2–3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup butter, softened (or vegetable oil)

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Cream Frosting

  • 1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream

  • 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional: chopped walnuts for topping

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.

  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.

  6. Gently fold in walnuts.

  7. Pour batter into the pan and bake 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Cool completely on a wire rack.

2️⃣ Make the Cream Frosting

  1. Chill the bowl and whisk for 10–15 minutes (cold cream whips better).

  2. Whip cream until soft peaks form.

  3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, whip until stiff peaks form.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cake

  1. Slice cake horizontally if you want layers.

  2. Spread cream between layers and on top.

  3. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for decoration.

🌟 Tips

  • Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.

  • Toast walnuts slightly for extra flavor.

  • Optional: add a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.

If you want, I can also give a shortcut “one-bowl” version that’s even faster but just as tasty—perfect for quick baking.

Do you want me to do that?
