Crockpot pork chops

Posted on April 7, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple, flavorful way to make Crockpot Pork Chops—tender, juicy, and practically hands-off.

🥩 Crockpot Pork Chops (Serves 4)

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional, for depth)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced mushrooms, paprika, or thyme

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the crockpot

  • Layer onions (and mushrooms if using) at the bottom of the slow cooker

2. Season the pork chops

  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  • Place on top of onions

3. Make the sauce

  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and soy sauce
  • Pour over pork chops

4. Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours
  • Pork chops should be fork-tender

5. Serve

  • Spoon sauce and onions over the pork chops
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed veggies

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overcook—even in a crockpot, very lean chops can dry out if left too long
  • For extra flavor, brown the chops in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side before adding to the crockpot
  • You can thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry (1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water) near the end of cooking

If you want, I can give a sweet honey-garlic crockpot pork chop variation that turns the sauce into a rich, sticky glaze.
