🍝 Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole

Serves: 6–8 | Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 35–40 mins


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 12 oz spaghetti (uncooked)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook Spaghetti

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook Beef Mixture

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is softened. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in marinara sauce, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Mix Creamy Layer

  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.

4. Assemble the Casserole

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti.

  • Spread half of the beef sauce over spaghetti.

  • Dollop and spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the beef layer.

  • Repeat layers with remaining spaghetti, beef sauce, and cream cheese mixture.

5. Top with Cheese

  • Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

6. Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

7. Serve

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
