Apple Crescent Dumplings

Here’s a warm, cozy dessert that’s incredibly easy and always a hit:


🍎🥐 Apple Crescent Dumplings

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 2 large apples (peeled, cored, cut into 8 slices each)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: a splash of lemon juice

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • 180°C / 350°F

2. Wrap the Apples

  • Unroll crescent dough
  • Place one apple slice on each triangle
  • Roll it up and place in a greased baking dish

3. Make the Sweet Sauce

  • In a saucepan, combine:
    • Sugar
    • Water
    • Butter
    • Cinnamon
  • Heat until butter melts and mixture is smooth
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla

4. Pour & Bake

  • Pour sauce evenly over dumplings
  • Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly

🍨 Serve

  • Best served warm
  • Add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top

💡 Tips for Extra Flavor

  • Use green apples for a tart contrast
  • Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top before baking
  • Add chopped nuts for crunch
