Ingredients

Brownie Base

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Banana Pudding Layer

  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced

Topping

  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • Optional: crushed vanilla wafers or chocolate chips

Instructions

1️⃣ Make Brownie Base

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Melt butter and mix with sugar
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth
  4. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder
  5. Pour batter into a greased 8×8-inch pan and bake 20–25 minutes (do not overbake)
  6. Let brownies cool completely

2️⃣ Prepare Banana Pudding Layer

  1. Whisk instant pudding with cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes)
  2. Layer banana slices evenly over cooled brownies
  3. Spread pudding over banana layer

3️⃣ Add Topping

  1. Spread whipped cream over pudding layer
  2. Sprinkle with optional crushed vanilla wafers or chocolate chips for crunch

4️⃣ Chill and Serve

  • Chill in the fridge 1–2 hours for best slicing
  • Cut into squares and serve
