Here’s an easy, irresistible Butter Toffee Pretzels recipe — sweet, crunchy, buttery, and perfect for snacks, gifts, or parties!

🥨 Butter Toffee Pretzels (Quick & Addictive!)

Ingredients

  • 6 cups mini pretzels

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup (helps the coating stick—optional but recommended)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp baking soda

🔥 Instructions

1. Preheat

Set oven to 250°F (120°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.

2. Make the Toffee

In a saucepan:

  1. Add butter + brown sugar + corn syrup.

  2. Heat over medium, stirring until melted.

  3. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 3 minutes (no stirring).

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla + baking soda.

    • It will foam — that’s normal! It makes the toffee light and crispy.

3. Coat the Pretzels

  • Place pretzels in a large mixing bowl.

  • Pour warm toffee over them and toss quickly to coat before it sets.

4. Bake

Spread pretzels in an even layer and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to keep them separate and evenly coated.

5. Cool & Break Apart

Let them cool completely — they’ll crisp up as they cool.
Break into clusters or individual pieces.

⭐ Optional Mix-Ins

Make them extra special!

  • Add 1 cup pecans or almonds before baking

  • Drizzle cooled pretzels with melted chocolate

  • Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm

  • Add candy pieces after cooling (M&Ms, toffee bits, etc.)

🥨 Storage

Keep in an airtight container for 1–2 weeks…
if they last that long. 😉
