Chicken marsala

Chicken Marsala is a classic dish made with tender chicken cooked in a rich sauce of mushrooms and Marsala wine. It’s flavorful, creamy, and perfect with pasta or mashed potatoes. πŸ—πŸ„


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ΒΎ cup Marsala wine
  • Β½ cup Chicken broth
  • ΒΌ cup Heavy cream (optional for a creamy version)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet and cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the Mushrooms

In the same pan, add mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are soft and slightly browned.

3. Make the Sauce

Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to reduce slightly.

4. Finish the Dish

Return chicken to the pan and simmer a few minutes. Stir in heavy cream if you want a richer sauce. Add the remaining butter for extra flavor.

5. Serve

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
