Here’s a classic Corn Pudding recipe—creamy, slightly sweet, and perfect as a comfort-food side dish 🌽🥄

🌽 Classic Corn Pudding

Ingredients (6–8 servings)

  • 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (or half-and-half for richer pudding)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup cornmeal or all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Optional add-ins:

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • Pinch of paprika or cayenne

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, creamed corn, and whole corn.
  3. Add dry ingredients
    • Stir in cornmeal (or flour), baking powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Bake
    • Pour mixture into prepared dish.
    • Bake 45–50 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
  5. Cool slightly & serve
    • Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
