Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild, hot, or sage)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (sharp works best)

  • 2 cups Bisquick (or similar baking mix)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. In a large bowl, mix sausage and cream cheese until well combined.

  3. Add cheddar, Bisquick, and seasonings. Mix until a thick dough forms.

  4. Roll into 1-inch balls and place 1–2 inches apart on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake 18–22 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

  6. Drain briefly on paper towels if needed.
