Crispy Air Fryer Pickles

Posted on March 3, 2026 by Admin

Crispy, tangy, and seriously addictive — Crispy Air Fryer Pickles are the perfect snack or game-day appetizer 🥒✨

🥒 Crispy Air Fryer Pickles

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 jar dill pickle chips (or spears), drained
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Optional:

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (mix into breadcrumbs)
  • Pinch of cayenne for heat

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Dry the Pickles (Important!)

  • Drain pickles well.
  • Pat completely dry with paper towels — this helps them crisp up.

2️⃣ Set Up Breading Station

  • Bowl 1: Flour
  • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
  • Bowl 3: Panko + garlic powder + paprika + pepper (and Parmesan if using)

3️⃣ Bread

  • Dip each pickle slice into flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture.
  • Press gently so coating sticks well.

4️⃣ Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange pickles in a single layer (don’t overlap).
  • Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  • Air fry 7–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

🥣 Dipping Sauce Ideas

  • Ranch dressing
  • Spicy mayo (mayo + sriracha)
  • Garlic aioli
  • Honey mustard

🔥 Tips for Extra Crunch

✔ Use panko instead of regular breadcrumbs
✔ Double-dip in egg + breadcrumbs for thicker coating
✔ Serve immediately for best crispiness
