Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta is a quick and flavorful dish with tender shrimp, buttery garlic sauce, and pasta—perfect for a fast but impressive dinner. 🍤🍝

Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

  • 8 oz Spaghetti (or linguine)
  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ cup Chicken broth
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and Black pepper
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions in salted water.
  • Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

2. Cook the Shrimp

  • Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
  • Remove shrimp and set aside.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic.
  • Cook about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer for 2–3 minutes.

4. Combine

  • Add pasta and shrimp back to the skillet.
  • Toss everything together, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.

5. Finish

  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, parsley, and optional red pepper flakes.

Serve

Serve hot with:

  • Garlic bread
  • or a fresh Caesar salad.

✅ Tip: Do not overcook shrimp—they cook very quickly and should just turn pink and slightly firm.
