Here’s a simple, classic ham and cheese sliders recipe (easy and teen-friendly):

Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls are popular)
  • ¾–1 lb sliced ham
  • 6–8 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or provolone)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the rolls in half horizontally (keep them connected).
  3. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  4. Layer ham evenly, then cheese on top.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls on.
  6. Mix melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  7. Brush the mixture over the tops. Sprinkle poppy seeds if using.
  8. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake 5–10 more minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Tips

  • Add honey to the butter for a sweet twist 🍯
  • Use turkey instead of ham if you prefer
  • Serve with chips, fruit, or a simple salad

If you want a quick microwave version, a party-size batch, or a custom flavor idea, just say the word!
