Honey Butter Crispy Chicken

Posted on March 13, 2026 by Admin

Honey Butter Crispy Chicken is a popular comfort food that combines crispy fried chicken with a sweet honey-butter glaze. It’s crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and perfectly sticky-sweet. 🍗🍯

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 lb Chicken pieces
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying (Vegetable oil)

Honey Butter Glaze

  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • Pinch of Cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

  1. Mix flour with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Dip chicken pieces in beaten egg, then coat with the flour mixture.

2. Fry the Chicken

  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through (about 10–12 minutes per side, depending on size).
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3. Make the Honey Butter Glaze

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in honey and cayenne (if using) until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat.

4. Coat the Chicken

  • Brush or drizzle the honey-butter glaze over the hot fried chicken pieces until fully coated.

5. Serve

  • Serve immediately while crispy, with sides like Coleslaw, Mashed potatoes, or Rice.

✅ Tip: For extra crispiness, double-dip the chicken in egg and flour before frying.

If you want, I can also show you a quick oven-baked honey butter crispy chicken version that’s less oily but still crunchy and flavorful.
