Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Posted on April 28, 2026 by Admin

Those ultra-simple biscuits are famous for a reason—soft, buttery, and almost cake-like. Here’s the classic version:

🧈 Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, gently mix the self-rising flour and cream until a soft dough forms. Don’t overmix.
  3. Turn dough onto a floured surface and lightly knead 4–5 times.
  4. Pat or roll to about 1-inch thickness.
  5. Cut into biscuits (or just use a glass).
  6. Place on a baking tray (slightly touching for softer sides).
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden on top.

✨ Why they’re so good:

  • Cream replaces both butter and milk
  • Super soft inside, lightly crisp outside
  • Practically foolproof

🔁 Easy variations:

  • Sweet version: Add 1–2 tbsp sugar + drizzle honey or glaze
  • Cheesy: Mix in shredded cheddar
  • Garlic butter: Brush with melted butter + garlic after baking

If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can still make them—just tell me and I’ll give you the exact substitute.
