No-Bake Butterscotch Haystacks

Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4–5 cups chow mein noodles
  • ½ cup salted peanuts (optional but traditional)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butterscotch chips and peanut butter.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and melted.
  3. Gently fold in chow mein noodles (and peanuts if using) until evenly coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or parchment paper.
  5. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 20–30 minutes.
