🍗🍒 Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken (3-Ingredient Tangy Dinner)

This sweet-savory combo is incredibly easy and perfect for busy days. Just pour, cook, and enjoy.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
  • ½ cup French dressing (the classic sweet-and-tangy orange one)

That’s it — just 3 ingredients over chicken.

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Place raw chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
2️⃣ In a bowl, stir together cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, and French dressing.
3️⃣ Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
4️⃣ Cover and cook:

  • Low: 6–7 hours
  • High: 3–4 hours

Chicken is done when it reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.

🍽️ How to Serve

  • Spoon extra sauce over the top.
  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.
  • Add steamed green beans or roasted carrots on the side.

💡 Optional Upgrades

  • Add 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard for extra tang.
  • Stir in a splash of balsamic vinegar for depth.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley before serving.
  • Shred the chicken in the sauce for sandwiches or sliders.

❄️ Leftovers

Keeps in the fridge 3–4 days.
Freezes beautifully for up to 2 months.

If you’d like, I can also give you a healthier low-sugar version or a version made with fresh cranberries instead of canned sauce.
