Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 6–8 slices bacon (chopped)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1–2 cups chicken broth

  1. Layer the cabbage
    • Place cabbage wedges in the slow cooker
  2. Add flavor
    • Sprinkle chopped bacon and sliced onion over the top
  3. Pour broth
    • Add chicken broth around the cabbage (not directly washing off seasoning)
  4. Cook
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
    • Until cabbage is tender and flavorful
