🥪 Reuben Crescent Bake

A Reuben Crescent Bake is a warm, cheesy, savory casserole inspired by the classic Reuben sandwich. It’s easy to prepare, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Crescent roll dough (8 oz / 1 tube)
  • 8 slices Corned beef or pastrami, chopped
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese, chopped or shredded
  • ½ cup Sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and press seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. Spread Thousand Island dressing evenly over the dough.
  4. Layer with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut.
  5. Optional: drizzle Dijon mustard on top for extra flavor.
  6. Roll the dough tightly like a jelly roll, pinch seams to seal.
  7. Place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool 5 minutes, then slice into portions.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with extra Thousand Island dressing for dipping.
  • Pair with Pickles or a simple salad.
  • Great with a side of Potato chips.

💡 Tip: For a crispier top, brush the crescent bake with a little Butter before baking.

I can also make a cheese-stuffed, pull-apart version that’s perfect for parties if you want. Do you want me to show that recipe too?
