Rice pudding is a creamy, comforting dessert made by slowly cooking rice with milk, sugar, and warm spices. It’s simple and loved in many cultures. 🍚🍮


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup White rice
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Raisins (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice
    • In a saucepan, cook rice in 1½ cups water until tender (about 15 minutes).
  2. Add milk and sugar
    • Stir in milk, sugar, and salt.
    • Cook over low heat, stirring often, until thick and creamy (10–15 minutes).
  3. Add flavor
    • Stir in cinnamon, vanilla extract, and raisins.
  4. Serve
    • Serve warm or chilled.
    • Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top if desired.

Optional Add-Ins

  • Butter for richer flavor
  • Nutmeg for warmth
  • Fresh Strawberries or Mango for a fruity twist
