Roasted cauliflower

Roasted cauliflower is a simple, tasty, and healthy side dish with a crispy outside and soft inside.


Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, chili flakes, cumin, lemon juice, parmesan

Method

  1. Preheat oven
    • Set to 200–220°C.
  2. Prepare cauliflower
    • Cut into bite-sized florets.
    • Wash and dry well (dry = better crispiness).
  3. Season
    • Toss florets with oil, salt, pepper, and any spices you like.
  4. Roast
    • Spread on a baking tray in a single layer.
    • Roast for 25–35 minutes, turning once halfway.
    • Cook until golden and crispy on edges.
  5. Serve
    • Optional squeeze of lemon juice or sprinkle of parmesan on top.

Tips for best results

  • Don’t overcrowd the tray (causes steaming instead of roasting)
  • Higher heat = better caramelization
  • Dry cauliflower well before roasting
