savory sausage breakfast muffins

These Savory Sausage Breakfast Muffins are hearty, cheesy, and perfect for busy mornings. 🧁🍳🌭

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Optional: ¼ cup chopped Green Onions or Bell Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and black pepper; mix until combined.
  4. Stir in cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, and any optional vegetables.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Tips

  • Add diced Spinach or Mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days and reheat in the microwave.
  • They also freeze well—perfect for quick breakfasts.
