Ingredients

16β20 white button or cremini mushrooms

3 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
Β½ cup breadcrumbs (Panko works great)

Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
4 oz cream cheese, softened
-
2 tbsp chopped parsley (plus more for garnish)

2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
-
Salt & pepper to taste

Olive oil (for drizzling)

1. Prep the mushrooms

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Clean mushrooms gently with a damp towel.

Twist out the stems and chop the stems finely β youβll use them in the filling.

Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet (drizzle lightly with olive oil).
2. Make the filling
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add:

Minced garlic

Chopped mushroom stems
SautΓ© 3β5 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Remove from heat and stir in:

Cream cheese

Parmesan
-
Breadcrumbs
-
Parsley
-
Salt & pepper

Green onions (optional but delicious)
Mix until combined.
3. Stuff the mushrooms

Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap.

Sprinkle a little extra Parmesan or breadcrumbs on top for crunch.
4. Bake
Bake 18β20 minutes until golden and the tops are lightly crisp.
5. Serve
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
