This was given to us at the local Asian market. The cashier didn’t say what they were. Is it juice?

That’s not a drink—and definitely not something you’d want to consume.

What you’re holding looks like a beaded sex toy (often called anal beads) made of silicone or rubber. The shape—gradually sized rounded segments with a small flared base at the end—is designed for insertion and safe removal.

It likely got mixed in or handed out by mistake, because this isn’t food or anything sold as a beverage.

What to do:

  • Don’t try to open or taste it
  • Wash your hands after handling it
  • You can discard it or return it to the store if you’re comfortable doing so

If you were expecting a drink or snack, this was almost certainly a mix-up.

A few details so you can clearly identify it:

  • Material: usually soft silicone or rubber
  • Shape: a series of rounded “beads” that gradually increase in size
  • End piece: the small flared base/handle at the bottom is there for safety and grip (so it can’t go fully inside)
  • Purpose: it’s designed for adult sexual use, where the beads are inserted and removed for sensation

It looks sealed, which is how many of these products are packaged before sale.

This almost certainly ended up in your hands by mistake at the store—sometimes non-food items get mixed into shipments.

Bottom line: don’t eat or open it expecting food. Just discard it or return it if you want to let the store know about the mix-up.
